Direct Impact Grants are available to current dues-paying DSAHRC members through Personal Development and Conference Scholarship Grants.  

Personal Development Grants 
Personal Development Grants are offered to DSAHRC members who have Down syndrome so they may take advantage of a wide array of opportunities to learn new skills, become more active, and have fun!  Members may choose to apply for a Personal Development Grant for activities such as:

• Ballet
• Swimming
• Horseback Riding
• Sign Language
• Skiing
• Bike Camp
• Music Classes
• Camps and other Summer Programs

Many DSAHRC members participate in the activities mentioned above, as well as others.  The result is that participants, young and old, find new ways to communicate, be more physically fit, and increase their self-esteem, confidence, and community involvement. 

Conference Scholarship Grants
Conference Scholarship Grants are available to DSAHRC members so that they may attend conferences such as the DSAHRC Annual Beyond Our Wildest Dreams Conference, the National Down Syndrome Congress Convention, or any other conference on Down syndrome and related topics.

All Direct Impact Grants are limited to one per family per calendar year (Maximum $250). 
Funds are limited to the amount allocated in the current DSAHRC yearly budget. 

Click Here for an application.  Receipts must be included with the application.  If the application is approved, reimbursement will be made directly to the family.  Allow 4-6 weeks for reimbursement.
